Qualitative - The human touch - interviews, surveys and observation Quantitative - Data - statistics and numbers Primary - Research you conducted yourself Secondary - Using existing research So far I have used mostly secondary data because it was easier and much faster to produce, however I think I should also include more primary data as its more accurate as I have found it out myself.   Advantages and disadvantages of primary data: Data is more reliable as its came from them Relates directly to persons research Expensive to collect the data Takes a long time to process information Advantages and disadvantages of secondary data:  Saves time Accessibility Saves money Lack of control over data quality Inappropriateness of data

Narrative of my film

Whats the plot? Whats the story? (themes, feelings of character) What narrative structure will you use? Will you withhold aspects of the story from the audience? Or show them everything? What else will help the story? - signifiers? music? editing? A family of two twins and a mother go to the park for the day. The mother sits on the bench at one side of the park distracted by her newspaper and dog walkers around her whilst the twins play on the climbing frames and swings. One of the twins befriends a girl ( a ghost) who she has alot of fun with at the park. Meanwhile the other twin is suspicous and wary of her sister because she is unable to see this girl ( a ghost). In the end, the twin goes missing with this girl and the other twin later finds a poster of this girl who has been missing for 10 years. Our narrative structure is linear because it follows a story and doesn't come away from that. One part of the film we are withholding from the audience is the girl ghost and ...
